LUPRO, a cutting-edge AI camera venture, announced on the 8th that it recently received favorable reviews for its cutting-edge AI camera performance from the Royal Thai Armed Forces' 1st Fleet Command and 1st Squadron Command, signaling its entry into the overseas defense market.
According to the company, key Thai military officials, including the Royal Thai Armed Forces and the Commander of the Security Command, verified the LUPRO AI camera's ability to perform ultra-long-range surveillance even in extreme environments such as fog, rain, and at night, confirming its practical applicability.
Thailand experiences an average annual rainfall of over 2,400mm and poor visibility due to thick fog, highlighting the need for state-of-the-art video surveillance equipment for military security operations.
Equipped with a proprietary FPGA-based image processing core board, LUPRO has advanced its defog, gimbal, and thermal imaging technologies, achieving a groundbreaking technological breakthrough.
This has enabled ultra-long-range, high-resolution image acquisition and stable target tracking. Furthermore, its unparalleled surveillance capabilities, even in adverse weather conditions and at night, are expected to dramatically enhance military operational capabilities.
An LUPRO representative stated, "We have completed preparations for a Proof of Concept (POC) for deployment at the frontline of the Thai border," and "We have also completed procedures for supply to the Royal Thai Armed Forces."
LUPRO Chairman Kim Se-ho stated, "Based on LUPRO's unrivaled AI video surveillance technology, we will fully advance into the global defense market. Utilizing cutting-edge technology, we will lead the way in securing integrated surveillance solutions optimized for global security and modern warfare."
