Former Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun, who served as the 9th Minister of Commerce, Industry and Energy and the Speaker of the National Assembly during the first half of the 20th National Assembly, visited LUPRO's headquarters to hold a business briefing and demonstration of LUPRO's cutting-edge AI cameras, aimed at leading the global artificial intelligence (AI) camera market.

LUPRO, a cutting-edge AI camera development venture, possesses the core technology to capture and provide users with high-quality video images even in adverse weather conditions, including fog, sea fog, fine dust, rain, and snowfall.

The company recently independently developed an FPGA board, a key component of AI cameras, and received a patent from the UK Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) for its AI camera self-stealth technology.

Following the business briefing, a cutting-edge AI camera demonstration was held. Former Prime Minister Chung Sye-kyun personally experienced the LUPRO AI camera, equipped with an FPGA core board and low-visibility image enhancement device. He confirmed LUPRO's unique and outstanding performance: ▲Defog (image enhancement technology that removes fog and sea fog) and ▲Gimbal (technology that precisely maintains horizontal and vertical field of view even when shaken).

Former Prime Minister Chung stated, "LUPRO AI cameras possess core technologies that can drive national competitiveness not only in the global AI camera market but also in the security, national defense, and defense industries." He added, "As mentioned during the business briefing, LUPRO's entry into the UAE market with its cutting-edge AI camera is a remarkable achievement and will serve as a catalyst for economic and security resources that will enhance national competitiveness."

In response, LUPRO Chairman Kim Se-ho stated, "Our cutting-edge AI cameras are equipped with core technologies that can strategically enhance the national competitiveness of the security and defense industries in the global market." He added, "In collaboration with the UAE state-owned Al-Fatan Group, the LUPRO AI camera production plant, scheduled to be built in Abu Dhabi in 2026, will become a hub for driving the global AI camera market."

CEO Kim continued, "This will serve as a foundation for strengthening cooperation between Korea and the UAE in the economic, defense, and AI sectors, and will be a crucial opportunity to secure national competitiveness."
