LUPRO, a cutting-edge AI camera developer, announced that it has opened the door to entering the overseas defense market by hosting a briefing session on its L.U.Pro AI camera at the Royal Thai Navy's 1st Fleet Command in Sattahip, Thailand.

The briefing was attended by key Thai military officials, including the Commander of the Royal Thai Navy's 1st Fleet and the Commander of the 1st Squadron.

Thailand's tropical monsoon climate results in a long rainy season, averaging over 2,400mm of annual rainfall. Due to the extreme daily temperature fluctuations, thick sea fog often obscures visibility.

The Royal Thai Navy boasts one of the strongest naval forces in Southeast Asia, possessing a diverse fleet of vessels, including aircraft carriers and frigates. However, LUPRO determined that the introduction of L.U.Pro AI cameras, which provide high-quality images even in adverse weather conditions, is essential to maximizing the military's 24/7 operational capabilities and capabilities.

Equipping all ships with LUPRO's cutting-edge AI cameras, which feature unparalleled ▲Defog (image enhancement technology that removes fog and sea fog) and ▲Gimbal (technology that maintains precise horizontal and vertical field of view even under shaking) performance, is expected to significantly contribute to the Royal Thai Navy's military capabilities.

In particular, the LUPRO AI cameras have received excellent reviews from the Royal Thai Navy for their ability to maintain precise horizontal and vertical field of view even under wave action during maritime operations, and for their ability to provide stable video surveillance and object identification even under harsh weather conditions.

Currently, LUPRO has completed preparations for conducting a Proof of Concept (POC) with the Royal Thai Navy and is currently working on detailed procedures for implementation.

A LUPRO representative stated, "We have already completed the development of the FPGA board, the core of the AI camera, and the mass production system. We are ready to deliver and install the LUPRO AI cameras, produced by LUPROGEN, on ships operated by the Royal Thai Navy."

Kim Se-ho, Chairman of LUPRO, said, "We are targeting the global market with the technology of cutting-edge AI cameras equipped with FPGA core boards." He added, "We will further strengthen our next-generation unmanned vehicle surveillance technology and competitiveness, and by entering the domestic and global markets to lead cutting-edge technology, we will also contribute to the development of an integrated system that effectively defends against drones, which have become a key tactic in modern warfare."
